Alan literally crashed his way into the drone industry and hasn’t looked back. He founded UAV Coach in 2014 with a focus on education, safety, and commercial opportunity and launched Drone Pilot Ground School two years later. Earlier in his career, he ran a boutique marketing agency in NYC, built HubSpot’s customer certification program, and amassed colorful travel stories from 50+ countries as a cost-of-living research analyst.

Alan has a BA from Washington University in St. Louis. When not working, he’s planning his next outdoor adventure and playing with his dog Bleecker.
