Michelle Richmond is the New York Times bestselling author of six novels and two story collections. Her novels have been published in 30 languages and optioned for the big screen and for television. She has taught in the Masters of Fine Arts programs in Creative Writing at The University of San Francisco, California College of the Arts, St. Mary's College of Moraga, and elsewhere, and has designed and taught novel writing courses for Stanford Continuing Studies. Her work has been published in the Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, the Telegraph, the Guardian, Best American Fantasy, CNet's Technically Literate, San Francisco Chronicle Magazine, and many literary magazines and anthologies.

Michelle is passionate about demystifying the writing process for aspiring novelists. She has been helping writers realize their writing goals for almost two decades. She is the founder of Fiction Master Class and the creator of the Paperclip Method Workbooks for Writers. Michelle discovers and publishes new and emerging writers through Fiction Attic Press.
