Manuela Mischke-Reeds, MA, MFT is a licensed Somatic Psychotherapist, Dharma Ocean teacher, International teacher of Somatic Psychology and writer. She’s taught health professionals for the past 25 years in California, Australia, New Zealand, Israel, Europe and China. She teaches the Meditating with the Body retreat at Dharma Ocean, Colorado and Brisbane, Australia. She co-directs and teaches at the Hakomi Institute of California that hosts her trauma training, “From Trauma to Dharma.” This training integrates current neuroscience of trauma rheory, somatic and mindfulness-based interventions with dharmic teachings, and embodied meditation practices. Her recent book, 8 Keys to Practicing Mindfulness: Practical Strategies for Emotional Health and Wellbeing, will help you cultivate awareness that will make a difference in how you engage with the world on a daily basis

Rob Fisher, MFT is the author of Experiential Psychotherapy With Couples: A Guide for the Creative Pragmatist. He has also authored numerous chapters and articles published internationally on couples therapy and the psychodynamic use of mindfulness for publications including Psychotherapy Networker, The Therapist, The Journal Of Couples Therapy, The USA Body Psychotherapy Journal, Psychotherapy in Australia and others.

An advocate of the use of mindfulness and present experience in psychotherapy, he is an adjunct professor at JFK University. As the co-developer of the Mindfulness and Compassion in Psychotherapy certificate program at The California Institute of Integral Studies, he has brought together many leaders in the realms of mindfulness and psychotherapy in one of the only programs in the U.S. that teaches not just the skills of psychotherapy, but helps participants develop their internal state as well.

Rob is a speaker at conferences and workshops around the country such as CAMFT, The Couples Conference, USABP, The Psychotherapy Networker and The Relationship Council, where he presents as a peer, master or keynote speaker. Teaching internationally, he is a Hakomi Mindfulness Based Experiential Psychotherapy Trainer and a director of Hakomi Institute of California.
