Lee Anne Wichmann & Teresa Kintigh

LeeAnne Wichmann, LMFT, has been in clinical practice for 26 years. She has taught various classes in a graduate Couples and Family Therapy Program, and has presented at many national and regional conferences in the areas of professional ethics, domestic violence, attachment, and testifying as an expert witness in court. In addition to providing professional ethics training, Ms. Wichmann’s 20 years as a clinical supervisor has emphasized the development of an ethical practice, and the need to know the laws related to practice.

Ms. Wichmann served on the Oregon Board for Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists for five years. In reviewing consumer complaints against clinicians, she gained much insight into common ethical violations, and often what led to those violations. Ms. Wichmann is a Clinical Fellow and approved supervisor for the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.

Teresa Kintigh, LMFT, has been in clinical practice for 16 years. She has been a frequent lecturer in the areas of child and family therapy. Ms. Kintigh has presented at national and regional conferences in the areas of attachment and testifying in court as an expert witness. She is a Clinical Fellow and approved supervisor for the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. In her role as a clinical supervisor, Ms. Kintigh has gained great insight into the importance of knowing and understanding the ethics and laws related to mental health treatment.
