About Author

I currently live in Sarawakian Borneo.  I was in the UK for 20 years where I studied and worked.

Before moving back to Borneo, I lectured at a college in the UK, teaching life management skills to students with Autism, helping them bridge the gap between school and further education or work; whilst there, I was inspired to complete my MA in Autism.  I found that profound anxiety prevented their development in day-to-day tasks.  As a passionate yoga student, I spent years learning techniques to cope with my own anxieties, which I shared with them.  This made me realise I needed to take this further.  I then made the leap to pursue my Yoga Teacher Training in Dharamsala in India and in the process made the full-time transition to becoming vegan.

I have now opened my own Yoga and meditation studio, 'Whole Life Stress Management', which  looks at health, weight loss and staying young from the perspective of managing and reducing stress.  During the hours that I don't run these sessions, my studio is opened for Autism consultation.  Just recently, I continued on my yogic journey to gaining my 300 Hours YTT in Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training, in Rishikesh India, where I am currently staying until the International flying ban is lifted due to COVID19.

When I am not at the studio, my partner and I perform as Xanaduduo, a jazz duo at the local bar restaurant, here in Kuching.
