Hi, I am Alasdair from England, and unlike most Udemy instructors, I do not have extensive degrees or qualifications from advanced institutes. I much prefer the "university of life" or in other words, learning through living, which I find immensely rewarding.

For example, over the last 10 years, I have had much joy from learning different languages, each of which has opened my eyes to an exciting new culture and way of thinking, as well as understanding my own language and culture better. However, the most enjoyable aspect is being able to communicate with many fascinating people that I otherwise would not have been able to.

My aim is to use all the tricks and techniques that I have picked up to help make it easier for you to learn how to communicate effectively in English and other languages. I really hope you will get as much pleasure from taking these courses as I have from compiling them.
